
Gaming and Gambling : FREE CPD for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Primary teachers Autumn 2021
The national charity YGAM (The Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust) has partnered with a number of local organisations to provide a unique opportunity for teachers to attend two virtual workshops providing access to a host of gaming and gambling teaching resources as well as the chance to obtain certification.
The local partnership which is committed to prioritising the importance of teaching personal safety comprises of East Cambridgeshire’s Community Safety Partnership, Cambridgeshire Police Children and Young People’s Team, the PSHE Service as well as Cambridge United Community Trust.
To support primary schools in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough equip their pupils with an awareness of gaming/gambling related harm, YGAM is providing two free workshops on:
Thursday 2nd December 2021 (15:45 – 17:15)
Thursday 9th December 2021 (15:45 – 17:15)
Attendance will result in a City and Guilds certification as well as access to the YGAM bank of teaching resources which cover KS 2 – 4.
