Created by experts at the NSPCC, Developing an Understanding of CSA is a two-day training course that improves understanding and knowledge in identifying, preventing and responding to Child Sexual Abuse. Using case studies, small group activities and interactive tools this course is developed to give attendees the skills to play their part in responding to child sexual abuse. Key details and booking details are below. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis so we encourage you to reserve spaces as soon as possible.

If you have a team or group of 10 or more interested across your organisation, region or local authority we can provide a specific training session for you, so to get in touch please reply to this email to schedule this rather than booking using the link below as we may need to limit places due to funding allocations.

Format: 2 days, online via Zoom
Aims: The training aims to support delegates to:
- Identify the types of child sexual abuse (CSA)
- Utilise appropriate language
- Increase understanding of the research base
- Determine ways to support most vulnerable groups at risk for CSA
- Identify the ways CSA can impact children, their families, and society
- Recognise, Respond, Report and Record concerns
- Share best practice with others in your network
